The Strymon Sunset Dual Overdrive Pedal brings together the sounds of the top six overdrive circuits in a versatile and compact unit. Strymon carefully analyzed and fine-tuned the voicings of these legendary circuits to cover a wide range of tones. The pedal features two channels, each with two iconic overdrive circuit designs and a classic boost circuit. You can use any of the six overdrive circuits individually, cascade one channel into the other, or even run two overdrives in parallel for added complexity.

The Sunset Dual Overdrive offers 18 possible ways to stack your overdrives and boosts, allowing you to explore various combinations and create unique tonal textures. Stacking overdrives can expand your expressive range and add harmonic complexity to your playing. The pedal is equipped with a premium Class A JFET input stage, providing up to 20dB of analog gain for a warm and responsive sound.

In addition to the Drive, Tone, and Level controls on each channel, the pedal includes a Bright switch for adding extra bite to your tone. It also features a noise reduction function to reduce unwanted hum or buzz when you're not playing.

For advanced functionality, the Sunset Dual Overdrive has an expression pedal input. You can connect an expression pedal and customize the range of each knob, allowing you to morph parameters while you play. The expression pedal can also be used for smooth volume control, even when the pedal is bypassed, eliminating the need for a separate volume pedal.
