The Aguilar OBP-3TK is a 3-band onboard bass preamp with boost and cut controls for bass, mid, and treble frequencies. Designed for bass players seeking precise tonal control, it features +/-18dB boost/cut at 40Hz, +/-16dB at 400Hz or 800Hz mids, and +/-16dB treble at 6.5kHz. The preamp includes a black mini-toggle switch for midrange frequency selection and separate bass, mid, and treble pots. It provides high headroom, low distortion, and a full dynamic response. The device can be wired with a push/pull pot or mini-toggle switch and operates on 9 or 18 volts. Its discrete FET input stage ensures low noise performance. Installation requires wiring into an electric bass.
