The DiMarzio UtoPIA™ Bridge Pickup is designed specifically for Steve Vai's signature Ibanez PIA guitar. It features a custom laser cut baroque style cover with a gold patterned layer. Built on the Evolution® Bridge platform, this pickup emphasizes low-end response while adding thickness and body to the top end. It reduces upper midrange frequencies for a less aggressive attack and greater control. This high-output ceramic magnet pickup is intended for the bridge position on all solid body guitars and uses 4 conductor wiring. The pickup is finished in UtoPIA™ Blue Powder color with nickel pole pieces and is suited for coil-splitting when combined with the UtoPIA™ Middle pickup.
