The Novation Launchpad Pro MK3 is a grid controller designed for music production in conjunction with the Ableton Live DAW software. It features 64 pressure-sensitive RGB pads for launching clips, playing melodies and chords, and controlling mixer settings. The controller includes a four-track, 32-step sequencer with probability and mutation controls for dynamic creativity. It provides instant access to Ableton Live's Capture MIDI function to capture creative inspiration seamlessly. Novation includes Ableton Live Lite and an Easy Start Tool for quick music production, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced users.
The Launchpad Pro MK3 introduces Chord and Scale Modes, enhancing its instrument-like feel. Chord Mode facilitates exploration of chord voicings and harmonies, while Scale Modes automatically assign pads to specific notes, ensuring in-key playability and inspiring creativity.
The controller allows quick and immediate access to mixer controls without disrupting the performance. There's no separate mixer mode; users can press and hold a button, make adjustments, and release to return to the performance seamlessly.
The package includes Ableton Live Lite and additional software bundles for a creative jumpstart, featuring synths, virtual keyboards, reverb, tape deck emulation, and more. The Launchpad Pro MK3 is compatible with Mac, Windows, and iOS devices with the appropriate adapter.
